New Small Groups Starting this Summer

The "Life Study" was created to take each person on a journey into their own spiritual formation. Every thought we hold, every decision we make, and every action we take each contributes to who we become. In this way, life becomes God's customized curriculum for each of us. But, as in every story, ours also has a villain who works tirelessly to de-form what God intends to work for the good. This study examines the way we are formed, deformed, and transformed, exploring a variety of topics including: purpose, enemy, redemption, atonement, mystery, and community.

    New Sunday Night Experience

    great talk image

We're trying something new in October at hopewell. Each sunday night in the month of october from 6-8 p.m. were going to be having something called the great talk series. We will meet in the cafe, sing a couple of songs, and watch a top rated national speaker.

This month series will be watching Louie Giglio an incredible communicator that will wow us by describing how great this world is that God has created.

Were hoping you will use this layed back, coffee house feel to ivite friends and family who might be intimidated by a regular sunday morning service. If you have any questions, shoot pastor Joe an email or give the church a call @ 777-0190.

    Chili Cook Off Contest

On March 27th, Hopewell hosted a Chili cook off. It was a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to bring some new folks to the church and introduce them to the building and other church members. The variety of chili offerings was very impressive ranging from a special chicken chili to a recipe that featured peanut butter.

After everyone tested all the chili's and voted for their favorite many participated in a Wii bowling tournament. The tournament took a dramatic turn when it was won by a 4 year old. Plant to join us next year for this event.
